Mike's musical conquest comprises of a very simple yet delicate formula : keep the overall balance, and make something thats heavy, HEAVIER! Although he's known to play a solo now and then, Mike is often providing the lower end, more groove oriented sound that helps drive Arkayic Revolt. Having known and jammed with Darryl for over 15 years, the duo have a natural chemistry, that shines through the honesty of their music. Mike adds "We know each other's playing style, inside and out. We know how to write together, when to trust the other one if they have a different idea. Sometimes the different ideas work, and it's like discovering new ground. Sometimes they don't, so we try something else. We help each other become better musicians and I think it shows in the music." | |
